En van degenen die dat wel doen, kan slechts een handvol de titel van conglomeraat krijgen met vloten die tientallen en honderden containerschepen tellen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De toppositie werd in februari 2020 overgenomen van het Deense APM Maersk door het Zwitsers\/Italiaanse Mediterranean <a href=\"https:\/\/moverdb.com\/nl\/shipping-companies\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Top 10 Internationale Containerrederijen\">Scheepvaartmaatschappij<\/a> die momenteel 171 TW2T van het wereldaandeel TEU's in handen heeft. Haar diepgang bereikt 17 meter (55 feet 9 inches) in diepte, wat bijna twee voet dieper is dan de diepgang van haar beruchte neef, de Ever Given, die in maart 2021 het Suezkanaal gedurende 6 dagen blokkeerde.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De Ever Ace werd in Zuid-Korea geassembleerd door Samsung Heavy Industries, maar is eigendom van het Taiwanese bedrijf Evergreen Marine en voert de vlag van Panama. Het schip begon zijn eerste reis op 29 juli 2001, toen het de Chinese haven van Qingdao verliet. Van daaruit voer het schip naar de haven van Taipei in Taiwan en vervolgens naar Yantian in China, alvorens in Europa aan te leggen en haar reis in de haven van Rotterdam af te ronden.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dit schip wordt beschouwd als het grootste containerschip vanwege zijn TEU-capaciteit die wordt geschat op 23.992 TEU. Dit schip is tot op heden echter nog niet tot zijn maximale capaciteit geladen. Toch werd de Ever Ace in augustus 2021 geladen met 21.710 TEU, wat de grootste TEU-lading is die ooit op \u00e9\u00e9n enkel schip werd geregistreerd.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De Ever Ace maakt deel uit van de Evergreen A-klasse containerschepen die in totaal 14 schepen zullen omvatten. Haar bouwer is Daewoo Shipbuilding &amp; Marine Engineering.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Op de voet gevolgd door de Ever Ace, is de HMM Algeciras 61,0 meter (200,1 voet) breed, terwijl haar lengte 399,9 meter (1.312 voet) bedraagt - hetzelfde als de Ever Ace. Haar diepgang van 16,5 meter (54 voet 3 inches) is ook een beetje kleiner dan de Ever Ace.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De HMM Algeciras, die de vlag van Panama voert, is eigendom van het Zuid-Koreaanse scheepvaartconglomeraat HMM. Haar TEU-capaciteit is slechts 28 TEU korter dan die van de Ever Ace en bedraagt 23.964 TEU. De brutotonnage bedraagt 228.283 brutoton.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dit schip staat bekend als een milieuvriendelijk containerschip en als een van de meest geavanceerde op technologisch gebied. Met een lengte van 399,9 meter (1.312 voet) en een aanlegbreedte van 61,5 meter (202 voet) heeft dit containerschip in totaal een even grote oppervlakte als de Ever Ace, maar de diepgang is iets kleiner - 16,5 meter (54 voet 2 inch) in de diepte.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Het vierde schip op onze lijst is eveneens gebouwd door Samsung Heavy Industries in Zuid-Korea en zijn vrachtsysteem is speciaal ontworpen door het Finse bedrijf MacGregor International AB.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>De MSC G\u00fcls\u00fcn is uitgerust met 24 rijen containeropslagruimten en daarmee heeft het schip een TEU-capaciteit van maximaal 23.756 TEU. Haar aanlegbreedte is 61,0 meter (200,1 voet) met een diepgang van 6,5 meter (54 voet 2 inch).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dit schip is eigendom van de Mediterranean Shipping Company en zij en vier van haar zusterschepen (MSC Isabella, MSC Arina, MSC Nela, en MSC Sixin) varen onder de Panamese vlag.
